The concept of coal gasification process

 

Coal gasification process is basically reacting steam heated coal to get the Synthetic Fuel Gas (CO, H₂, CH₄).

 

Note: Organic materials other than coal can also be gasified such as coconut shell, wood, rice husk, corn cob, sugarcane fiber, municipal waste, etc.
